windows xp expiring today now what

Finally its April 8th 2014 , Its judgement day for all retail folks who are running windows xp on their system . Windows xp is 12 years old operating system from Microsoft . Even today 25% windows system runs XP . Today Microsoft ending its support for windows xp users . How does it matter to you and what could be effect from today onwards . Lets take a look to some important points .

why do you need to update from XP ?

Well biggest reason is security , now hackers knows microsoft wont fix any bugs it gives them extra edge . It gives them extra incentive to hack your computer and steal your data or do whatever they want to do . 

There are compatibility issues with windows xp now like if you buy new printer or new camera its possible it wont support Xp , infact Skype stopped supporting Xp long time back . 

What if i dont want to upgrade from XP ?

Well its not a problem but you need to be more careful what you do on your computer now , first you need to update 8th april upgrade from microsoft which it released today and you need to minimize your internet surfing . You should surf only verified website such as facebook , google , microsoft or other good websites . Try to avoid to go on random websites . If you follow these things , i feel you should be doing okay with your windows XP . But still its strongly recommend you update from XP to Windows 7 or 8
