how to install custom template in blogger

Well you may have noticed my current theme is not any default blogger theme . I installed it manually since blogger does not have too many options to choose from and others templates  are so boring . Here is how you can do it .

First of all you need to take backup of your blog theme . Here are all steps with picture tutorial .

First you need to download some reliable templates , there are many templates provider which can fool you and you may keep running with errors here and there i recommend templates from Bloggers theme . you can visit them by clicking here

Click on template and hit backup/restore

Click download full Template ( in case something goes wrong while installing new template )

Now hit the browse and select your template file . Template files are with XML extension

 It would take some minutes to install it .

If it give some error like your template failed or something like that then try this .

Open your xml template file in notepad and copy entire code 

Go to template > Revert to classic template

it would show codes . Replace that code with your template code and hit save .

It should be working now .

If it still give you error then your template have some loose ends and check your code and best way just download another template .
